Hottie Crewmember: Man's Best Friend
This week, I wanted to devote our hottie blog to those men with a soft spot in their hearts for man's best friend: the pooch. It's heartening to see a man taking care of those smaller than us. Below, some dog lovers among us. I don't think that it's the puppies making me drool....
We have two great guests visiting with us this week! Lori Brighton will be here on Tuesday. Her debut, Wild Heart, will be out this month from Kensington. Then, on Wednesday, Elizabeth Hoyt joins us to talk about her newest release, To Desire a Devil. Come hang out with us and chat with this two amazing authors!

Oh, George! A pug! Always a soft spot for a man with a pug.
I love hearing David Duchovny's voice in the Pedigree commercials also...
My heart belongs to George always. Sigh!
Looking forward to the guests. To Desire a Devil is tantalizing me from my TBR shelf, BUT I MUST WRITE FIRST!
I love these pics!
I have to vote for Matty when he picks up a kitten. There is nothing cuter than a man who's 275lbs, looks intimidating as all get out snuggle with a 1lb kitten.
In fact, I have a soft spot for men with animals. I am a sucker. No doubt.
One commercial I cannot sit through is the one about abused animals. Nothing will make me cry faster than seeing an abused animal.
Can't wait for the guests this week! Great hotties blog Marn!
I love dogs and I love men but I *really* love a man who loves his dog. Sigh... Gets me every time. There was a guy trick-or-treating through our neighborhood last night, escorting his young daughter, carrying an 8-week old Australian Shepherd puppy and dressed up as Tigger. He wasn't even that cute and my heart melted! lol
I have no patience to housebreak a dog, and have not successfully trained my own husband after decades of marriage, so I remain skeptical of all the cuteness above. But if I must pick one, I'll wrestle Janga for George. :)
Chance - David D does Pedigree commercials? I must not see that one....
Janga - Look at you, holding off on the reads to do some writing. Such discipline....
Sin - Those abused animals commercials kill me too. So do the St. Jude's Hospital ones. I cry like a baby.
I love big guys with little anything. Little animals are good, but teeny tiny babies is better. Watching a big man hold his tiny newborn for the first time.... Melt melt melt.....
PJ - that's adorable about the puppy... :) I saw somemone dressed as Dorothy with a little dog in a basket last night. That was cute. :)
Mags - I have no patience for housebreaking a dog either. I've already put my foot down about it in the house. We have two cats plus the toddler and that's just enough dirty things for me to clean up after.
Though I would probably pay to see an cage match between you and Janga for George.
Marnee - He voices the commercials. I love it, because you can hear the 'just how fun it is to be a dog' in his voice. I honestly have no idea if he digs dogs or not, but he's doing a great job with convincing me he does!
Like everyone above, I'm a sucker for a man and his dog. Though I always thought it was fitting George was more known for his love for his pot bellied pig. :)
I'll take the one in the middle. I don't care about the bad press, the Jen hoopla, or even the Brangelina stuff, he's still one of my favs. (Watched Ocean's 11 again last night. *sigh*)
I think it was 101 Dalmations where the owners met while walking their dogs and got tangled up together in the leashes - - intstigated by the dogs. Definitely a "cute meet."
I never really got how people sometimes say the dog and their owner starts to look alike. Maybe a touch in the last pic! :)
Both George and Ryan *double sigh* look totally at ease with their dogs. Brad - not so much! I can just imagine his thoughts behind the smile are "let's get this photo shoot over already." Yeah, not such a big fan.
I'll take Ryan and his boxer. I love boxers...they're very adorable looking.
Though I have to say, after seeing the picture of Matty and the kitten, I can see why Sin's a sucker. It is adorable. *LOL*
Melissa, one of my friends met her husband that way. She was jogging in the same park where he was walking his two Labs. The dogs thought she looked like a nice lady and bounded over to say hello, tangling her up in their leashes in the process. Guess they knew what their master needed! :)
After I looked at the men I noticed they had dogs. Yeah, those commercials get to me too. As if they aren't sad enough Sarah Maclachlen singing in them is so stirring. I love her voice.
