Hottie Crew Member of the Week - Holy Puck!

I know sport blogs are not always popular around here, but as it’s Stanley Cup time, the Pittsburgh Penguins are in the championship, and I’m from around Pittsburgh, I thought I’d introduce hockey to the crew.  One of the most important parts of a hockey player’s game is his stick.  So we’ll start there.

Now that I have your attention, it’s another great week for guests here on The Revenge.  Tuesday the always awesome Christie Craig returns to the ship to celebrate her latest release, GOTCHA!.  Anyone whose read Christie’s books (and if you haven’t, DO IT NOW!) knows she has some of the best over-the-top characters. Tuesday, she’ll talk about the fine art of going over with believability.

Then Friday, we welcome Toni Blake back to the decks.  This month Toni celebrates the release of the first book in her first series.  ONE RECKLESS SUMMER is our introduction to the people and stories of Destiny, Ohio, and we’re super excited she made the time to bring the celebration to the pirate party boat.

June is shaping up to be a killer month and there are even more to come including paranormal author and Vauxhall Vixen J.K. Coi, and Romantic Suspense author and Romance Bandit Jeanne Adams.  The Revenge is definitely the place to be.

Sigh, since the Sharks let us down again... I guess I can root for the Penguins. I was in Pittsburgh last year...thought it a nice city...

Though what's the name of the team pictured? I could find some real enthusiasm fer them...might even slip inta some cheerleader boots fer them...

!!!!!! WHERE did you get that pic? My little Aussie brain is boggling. What am I missing out on with the hockey?

My college boyfriend was a hockey player. Let me just say that photo brings back some lovely memories.

Great guest lineup for this week! I read ONE RECKLESS SUMMER last week. It's *so* good!

I love hockey. My DH used to play in college and still follows. (Though our home is an anti-Penguin zone. Go Flyers (and Red Wings until the season's over)!)

This is a fantastic picture though. And yay for our guests this week and our upcoming guests!

I'd love to say I'm that good, but it's really just a matter of google imaging the right words. ;)

Chance - No idea, but if you figure it out, let us know.

Annie - Hockey players are like Rugby players only with sticks, on ice, and with Canadian accents instead of Aussie. LOL!

PJ - Gloating does not become you. LOL!

Maggie - How could I forget the body check one. Gah! I let that one get away...

Marn - HEY! Come on, the Pens are still the home state team. And we're down 3-2 (unless the Pens came back from that 5-0 deficit last night which I doubt). Go PENS!

Well, we could invent a name fer them... I don' know much 'bout hockey, save that the San Jose Sharks keep starting with a roar and finishin' wit' a whimper...

Names are supposed ta be fierce...but...wait...Penguins? A fiece Penguin?

*shrugs... What do I know? Mayhaps they can be fierce.

So, fer the naked team... Pokers? (As in poking eye out with sharp stick?) The Ice Scicles? (same idea...) The Sticks (I seem fixated on poking eyes out today...PMS...)

;)

Ter - SHHHH.... You know I'm from outside Pitts myself, so I'm not really as much of a hater as I play on TV. But if DH catches me even whispering good luck cheers, it'll be ugly at the Gunner household.

Perhaps I'll just be Sweden in this one.

Chance - The Penguins is not necessarily an intimidating name, but hockey names don't seem to go for fierce. Maple Leafs, Flyers, Capitals, and Mighty Ducks don't exactly illicit fear in their oponents. LOL!

Marn - You could whisper the cheer and I'm sure no one here would tell on you.

It like my all sports weekend, hockey, just got home from a AAA baseball game, and I'm watching racing. I might need a shot of estrogen. :)

Oh, man! I forgot about the race! Ok, I see Tony won, that's fun! Me sis and I decided we'd all stumbled on the answer 'bout Kyle a few weeks back. A deal with the devil, or he's really a demon...

Annie West said...

Terrio,

Works for me! Sigh.

Chance - I didn't actually finish the race as I had some homework. (Three weeks - YAY!!!) I don't think Kyle sold his soul to the devil, I think he might actually have taken over the job.

Annie - Anytime. :)
