COWBOY! Or should I say CowMan!
Cause, he ain't no boy!
Yes, I snuck in and took over Sin's month, not being able to face a month of anime. So, look forward to a February full of Geoffrey!
BWAH HA HA!
It's a pretty calm week on the Revenge after last week's parties and mayhem... Looks like we have a guest on Wednesday, courtesy of Dead Reckoning Donna... Leigh Michaels!
I did love this movie, he was delish in it!
And his aim, it were true!

Your cruelty is amusing as hell, 2nd.
Though I did love Geoffrey in Quills, Shakespeare in Love, and The King's Speech--and of course, POTC (though his teeth were way jacked!)
I don't remember him in Shakespeare in Love. I must look it up and see if I can figure out who he played... I sorta found that movie annoying, but that is me!
Come on! He's a cowboy! I mean cowMan! How can you say that is cruel?
Would you rather have anime?
Huh?
Hope to go see The King's Speech tomorrow. It actually returned to several of our theaters.
I didn't know he ever played a cowboy. Huh. And how I didn't know before last weekend that he's Australian, I'll never know.
How could you not like Shakespeare in Love??? That's a great movie. And he had a big part!
It's been too long since I saw it and when I was younger...I was less inclined toward romantic movies, period.
I'll keep an eye out for it. I bet it will play in the next few weeks on TV and I can watch it again...
And the movie is only about 12 years old. Are you saying 12 years ago you hated romance?
I enjoy Geoffrey Rush. I was speaking about Donna who is probably thrashing about on the floor, going, "My eyes! My eyes!"
I loved Shakespeare in Love--and he had a huge part! *LOL* You couldn't miss him in that movie!
Chance, now I'm REALLY worried about you. You don't like Shakespeare in Love? It's one of my top 5 movies. I've got it on DVD and seen it a zillion times AND I actually like Geoffrey Rush in it -- even if he does look like his typical scruffy self. LOL
Thank goodness February is a short month. :)
I love Shakespeare in Love. One of my favorite movies. There are so many witty little throwaway lines in it, and the ensemble cast is excellent. I always catch something new when I see it (it's an instant download on Netflix and don't ask how many times I've downloaded, LOL). But, alas, Mr. Rush does not make me want to save a horse and ride a cowboy, uh, cowman.
I didn't mean I didn't like the movie! I just didn't really see the attraction! Or big deal about it!
Hel, sorry, I misread you comment.
Donna, it's the scruffiness you dislike? Ah, well I'm a more scuffy guy girl!
Maggie...what can I say? I've got a thing for tall, lanky men with distinctive noses.
Chance, I don't want to disparage anyone's object of lust, so yeah, "scruffy" is not for me.
BUT, I've got to high five you for picking someone you don't have to arm wrestle the rest of the pirates for--you can have him all to yourself!
I prefer to think he's chasing me! ;-)
Distinctive noses. LOL! Somehow I don't think that's the distinctive part the rest of us pirates are interested in.
Maggie - How many times? Come on, you can tell us? I haven't seen that movie in forever. Now I want to watch it again.
Chance, I love your independent nature. And I think that its Important for men to realize that there is a woman out there that will be attracted to ‘them’ … as in the them who they are … not the them how they look. Scruffy? My husband used to wear suits … even the occasional tuxedo to work. Now his suit daze are long gone. He definitely looks rather scruffy at the end of his work day … but my-oh-my does he clean up nicely!
"Distinctive noses. LOL! Somehow I don’t think that’s the distinctive part the rest of us pirates are interested in."
Well it should be.
Ooooh my? I’m trying not to laugh because yes my DH does have a rather distinctive nose. And well … just think about it for a moment … there are indeed ooohhh certain activities in which a distinctive nose is indeed an asset.
I'm going to have to go wash my brain out, thanks, Jules.
Chance has been attacked by bicep tendinitis. Quick trip to urgent care has her flying on some loopy stuff. It was all that pulling on the rope to get Geoffrey up over the side of the boat, I'm sure.
Poor Chance. Hope that you feel better soon ...
*innicent look*
And you're welcome, Bo'sun!
Or should that be you're wellcuuuu... well-umm just think about it for a moment …
*wicked laugh*
innOcent
Gonna be fun recovering from this new mess. Pain meds, anti-inflammatories and physical therapy. Thank God...help me figure out how not to do this again! Don't ya hate when you haven't the foggies idea how you screwed up?
Jules is right...distinctive noses are like...big feet. They are handy!
;-)
Speaking of handy stuff, Chance ... you need a headset.
so
You don't over work the tendons in your hands/arms with all that typing.
Maybe after I'm off the meds, Jules... Not sure I'd make sense until I've worked some of this need for pain meds out of my system.
Whoohoo! Congrats to Halleigh! New pirate lad to bring aboard!
