Renee

I missed all the holiday fun. LOL! Happy (day after) Turkey Day, everyone!
Happy Black Friday Ter!
Marn - I'm at work! LOL! But I'm leaving in four minutes then I believe we are hitting the mall. Pray for me!
Happy Thanksgiving, pirates!
Marnee, didn't you have a houseful for dinner yesterday? ... And you blogged. How did you find the time?
Anybody else silly enough to get up at the crack of dawn and take advantage of Black Friday sales! The DH and I were at Kohls at 4:05 am and back in bed at 6:03 am.
LOL! Irish, it was hardly a blog. But yes, I had a houseful of folks and it turned out great, I think. One side dish (artichokes) turned out meh, but the rest was awesome. :)
Wow, 4:05. That's dedicated. I was still sleeping at 6:03. And 7:03. LOL!
Any good deals Ter?
We drove by the entrance to the mall...ugly! On to the Harvest Festival...wandering through an expo of arts and crafts...loverly.
For the sake a the merchants, I pray Black Friday is a crowded crazy shopping spree. But I ain't gettin' involved! Don't think anything could lure me outta bed at 4am...
Me hubby did buy me an early birthday present at the Harvest Festival... 7 large black pearls, 32 small pink, on a silver choker...just exquisite. I be a lucky pirate writer...sigh.
I was up at 2:50, back in bad at 5:00. Don't ask. *rolls eyes* I got stood up.
Renee
Make 'em walk the plank, Renee!
LOL, I should. The youngest and I went out later. Boy, was that an experience. I blogged about it. Every year I swear I'm not going back and then I do. Next year, I'll know not to accept an invitation from the in-laws to go, because I know they'll stand me up. ;)
Renee
I'm sure there were plenty of good deals, but I wasn't shopping, just along for the ride. It was tough finding a parking space, but inside things weren't so bad.
Irish - I love the "back in bed at 6:03" thing. LOL! That's called knowing what you want and getting it done!
Renee - I have friends that went out at 4am. While they were in Toys-R-Us, some people got arrested for fighting over a Barbie Jeep. Isn't that crazy?! I think you're lucky you ended up staying home.
